Complete website builds

One joined-up website service, from first structure to launch.

I plan, design and build professional websites for UK roofing businesses. The engagement brings structure, content, visual design, development and the contact journey together around one goal: representing the real business clearly and professionally.

One connected engagement

A website is strongest when its parts are planned together.

A service page cannot do its job if the navigation is confusing. Strong project photos lose value if they have no context. A polished design still falls short if a visitor cannot find the phone number or use the site comfortably on mobile.

That is why V1 is sold as a complete website build rather than a menu of loosely connected digital services. The exact page count and functionality depend on the business, but the following components form the core engagement.

01

Understand and plan

Start with the roofing business, not a template.

We establish what you do, where you work, who you serve, how customers currently find you and what makes a useful enquiry. We also review the proof you can genuinely support: project material, reviews, credentials, process and business facts.

From there, I plan the sitemap, page priorities and routes between services, work and contact. The result should fit your business rather than reproduce every page in the Rookstone concept.

Typical outputs

  • Agreed website goals and priorities.
  • Focused sitemap and navigation.
  • Page-by-page content requirements.
  • Clear primary contact route.
  • A list of client information and assets still needed.
02

Organise the content

Explain services in the language a homeowner can follow.

You provide the business knowledge and confirm every factual claim. I help organise that knowledge for the website: clear service explanations, useful process content, genuine project stories and concise contact guidance.

The aim is not to fill pages for their own sake or publish repetitive town pages. It is to answer the questions that help the right prospect understand the work and decide whether to contact you.

Typical content areas

  • Core roofing services and relevant customer problems.
  • Service area and customer type.
  • How assessment, quotation and work normally progress.
  • Genuine project examples where suitable facts and imagery exist.
  • Genuine reviews, accreditations or guarantees only where supplied, verified and approved.
  • Contact expectations and practical next steps.
03

Responsive visual design

Present the business professionally on mobile and desktop.

The design creates a consistent visual hierarchy for services, project imagery, proof and calls to action. It should feel appropriate to the individual business and robust enough for everyday use—not like a generic software template or a copy of another roofer’s site.

Mobile layouts are considered from the outset because prospects may open the link from Facebook, an email, a directory listing or a message after a phone conversation.

04

Development

Build the agreed website as a working, maintainable product.

I implement the page system, navigation, responsive behaviour and agreed interactions. Development includes accessibility fundamentals, sensible performance decisions, metadata and indexing controls appropriate to the launch plan.

Features are chosen because the business needs them, not because a longer feature list sounds more impressive.

05

Services and project presentation

Help prospects see both what you do and how you approach the work.

Service content makes the scope understandable. Project content provides specific evidence when the business has genuine work to show. Together, they can move the site beyond unsupported claims such as “quality workmanship” by giving the visitor useful detail to inspect.

Project stories depend on real source material and permission. If useful images or facts are not available, the website will not manufacture them.

06

Enquiry journey

Make the next step easy to find.

The website can prioritise phone, email or a focused enquiry form according to how you want to handle new conversations. Contact actions should be clear across key pages and practical to use on a phone.

A website can create a better route for existing interest, but it cannot guarantee that interest, leads or customers.

07

Review and launch preparation

Check the facts and the experience before going live.

You review the website and confirm business-specific details. I refine the agreed work and prepare the production version, including checks of key pages, links, responsive layouts, contact routes and launch settings within scope.

Preview and non-canonical versions remain non-indexable. Production indexing is enabled deliberately only when the real site is ready for launch.

Source material

What I will need from you

You do not need to write a finished website before we begin. You do need to provide accurate business information and make decisions about what can be published.

  • Your logo and any existing brand material.
  • Your genuine services, service area, company history and business details.
  • The contact routes you actually monitor.
  • Your working process, opening/contact preferences and common homeowner questions.
  • Owner or team information where you want it shown.
  • Genuine project details, job photographs and before-and-after images you have the right to use.
  • Genuine reviews, memberships, trade-body or manufacturer relationships, accreditations, guarantees, warranty information, insurance/business credentials and claims that are current, supportable and approved for publication, where applicable.
  • Existing social profiles and useful wording from your own leaflets, Facebook material or other content.
  • What you believe differentiates the business and what you like, dislike or want handled differently.
  • Timely factual checks and consolidated feedback.

Do not provide account passwords or private authentication credentials during ordinary discovery.

Scope boundary

Clear scope, honest expectations

The core service is a professional website build. It is not a promise of rankings, leads or revenue, and it does not automatically include advertising, ongoing SEO, social-media management, photography, complex software systems or unlimited content production.

The precise scope, timeline and commercial terms are discussed after the business and requirements are understood. Fixed pricing is not published at this stage.

After launch

If you would like help looking after the website after launch, an ongoing care arrangement can be discussed once the build and your requirements are clear.

Let’s discuss the website your business actually needs.

Share how you currently win work, what services and projects you want to present, what you like or dislike in existing websites, and where your current online presence falls short. We can agree the right direction and scope around your business rather than copy the Rookstone concept.
